Macrame Feather Tutorial (Part 2 of 2)

This is part 2 of a 2 part series on how to make a macrame feather. In Part 1, I show you how to make the macrame feather. In this macrame tutorial (part 2), I show you the difference between leaving your macrame feather natural, using a stiffener spray and using a felt backing.

I also show you how I make my homemade stiffener spray. The recipe is below.

This is a great series for the beginner macrame artist. Feathers are so much fun to make and a great way to use up your off cuts.

I hope you enjoy the tutorial!

Stiffener Spray Recipe: Use a small spray bottle. Fill ¼ with fabric glue or craft glue. Fill the remaining 3/4 with water. Add a few drops of essential oil if you like. I use lavender essential oil.
