Basic Macrame Knots Tutorial

Have you been wanting to create a macrame wall hanging and don’t know where to begin? This is a simple tutorial which will teach you 3 of the basic macrame knots: the lark’s head knot, the square knot and the spiral knot. Once you can do these 3 knots, the world of macrame opens up to you.

The lark’s head knot is the most common knot to attach your macrame cord to your dowel!!! Once you have the larks head knot attached you can begin using the other 2 knots. The next blog post will be a YouTube video to make a macrame wall hanging using only the lark’s head knot and the square knot!
